Joe Smith - Coach Smith led his 2015 Williamstown squad to a great year, going 21-6, qualified for the prestigious Diamond Classic , won the Tri-county Conference Royal Division. In addition, went on to win the FIRST SOUTH JERSEY GROUP IV CHAMPIONSHIP in SCHOOL HISTORY. Coach Smith was named SOUTH JERSEY COACHES ASSOCIATION, COURIER POST, PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, HOT STOVERS and NJ.COM “Coach of the Year”. In his last two years at Williamstown he and his staff have compiled 37 wins. Before this, he was an assistant varsity coach at traditional power house Toms River South (2007-2011) and Vineland (2013-2014). Before that, he led Delsea Regional High School (2001-2006) for many years winning a SOUTH JERSEY GROUP III title and being named “Times Coach of the Year” in 2005. Coach Smith is also active in the South Jersey scouting community AND is the Head Coach of the Garden State Underclassmen Game , Senior Game and one of the coaches for theTri Cape Carpenter Cup. He also works the Select Fest Showcase at Rutgers University every summer.
